Keep the doors closed: a full freezer holds about 48 hours, a half-full one about 24. Food above 40°F for more than 2 hours should go.

Before you call

Vacuum the condenser coils if you can reach them.
Make sure nothing blocks the vents between freezer and fridge.
Check that the doors seal all the way.

Why is my freezer cold but my fridge warm?

The fridge gets cold air from the freezer. If that air stops moving, usually a failed fan or iced-over coils, the fridge warms up.

Is it worth repairing a refrigerator?

Fans, defrost parts, ice makers and control boards usually are. We don’t do sealed-system work (compressors or refrigerant). If that’s the problem, we’ll tell you at the visit.

Do you repair French-door and built-in fridges?

Yes, including side-by-side, French-door, bottom-freezer and built-in models.
